Casa Baba's residency brought together three artists across Europe: Jindřich Janíček in Rome, Giulia Cellino in Riga, and Jurijs Tatarkins in Prague. This book collects the comics they created during their residencies.“The vignettes are all generally charming, and they fit the cartoonist’s style well: his lines are wobbly and generalizing, without much detail. His characters sport bulbous, a-geometrical heads and bodies, and his spaces have little depth to them, less solid background than cardboard backdrop.”

Ams, ams, ams! is the debut children’s book by poet Ivars Šteinbergs with illustrations by Jurijs Tatarkins. It features 22 playful poems where children, parents, and words themselves take on unexpected roles. Language is treated as a game, mixing invented expressions, scientific terms, and everyday words in surprising ways.
